Postminion vs Publer: an honest comparison for 2026

I'm the founder of Postminion, which makes me the least neutral person to write this. So I'll show my working and link every source.

Publer is an interesting one to compare against. Unlike most big schedulers, it's cheap for small setups, and it packs a lot of features into its lower plans. For one or two accounts it actually costs less than Postminion. I'll get to where that flips.

The short version

Pick Publer if you only run one or two social accounts, want a free plan, or need things Postminion doesn't do: bulk scheduling from a CSV, a link-in-bio page, first comments, post recycling, team members, or analytics. Also pick Publer if you post to X, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, or a LinkedIn company page, or you upload long YouTube videos.

Pick Postminion if you run three or more accounts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Facebook, and personal LinkedIn, and you want one flat price that doesn't climb with every account you add. At 15 accounts, Postminion is $15 a month. Publer's cheapest paid plan is $56.

I checked every Publer number on September 29, 2026, against Publer's pricing page, Publer's help center, and Postminion's pricing. Prices change, so look at both before you pay.

Pricing: per account vs flat

Publer prices by the social account. Every Facebook Page, Instagram account, or TikTok counts as one, and the bill goes up with each one you connect. If you want teammates, each additional member costs extra too (the plan owner is included). For every 9 accounts or members, the 10th is free.

Postminion charges a flat price for a bundle of accounts. Split them across networks however you like, and every plan gets every feature.

Publer doesn't print a per-account rate on the page. It has a calculator instead. So I typed each account count into it, with one user and monthly billing, and wrote down what came out:

The 15 and 50 figures already include Publer's free 10th account. From three accounts up, it works out to $4 per account on Professional and $7 on Business.

Publer's yearly billing takes 20% off. Using the calculator's yearly prices, 15 accounts on Professional is $44.80 a month billed yearly, which is $537.60 a year by my maths. Postminion Pro is $165 a year for the same 15.

Now the part where Publer wins. With one account, Publer is cheaper: $5 a month against Postminion's $8. With two accounts it's $9 a month against $8, and on yearly billing Publer comes out a little ahead again ($7.20 a month, so $86.40 a year by my maths, against $88). If you only run one or two accounts, Publer Professional is the better deal on price alone. Three accounts is where Postminion becomes the cheaper one, and the gap widens from there.

Publer also has a free plan, and Postminion doesn't. Publer Free gives you 3 accounts (not X), 10 scheduled posts per account at a time, and 25 drafts, with no expiry date. The catch is that published posts only stay in Publer for 24 hours. Free users can also try most paid features a few times without entering a card.

Trials: Publer Professional has a 7-day free trial and Business has 14 days. Both need a credit card or PayPal. Publer also offers a 14-day refund window on web payments. Postminion has a 7-day free trial: $0 today, and no charge if you cancel within 7 days.

One more detail. Publer's paid plans say "unlimited scheduling", but Publer applies its own daily posting limits to prevent spam. Enterprise lifts them. Most people will never hit them, but it's worth knowing if you post a lot.

Platforms and formats

Publer supports a lot more places to post. Postminion covers six networks.

The format details come from Publer's supported post types page. A few things stood out:

• Long videos. Publer takes YouTube videos up to 12 hours, Reels up to 15 minutes, and TikToks up to 10 minutes. Postminion takes one video per post, up to 3 minutes and 500 MB. It's built for short-form.
• Instagram carousels. Publer's help center says videos can't be included in Instagram carousels at the moment. Postminion lets you mix photos and videos in a carousel.
• Instagram Stories. Publer says automatic Stories only work on Instagram Business accounts, with one photo or video per Story. For anything else, including stickers and music, Publer sends a reminder to its mobile app and you finish the Story in Instagram.

Neither tool can add trending audio or stickers to an Instagram post for you. Instagram's API doesn't allow it.

Where Publer is ahead

Publer is generous with features, even on its lower plans. Here's what it does that Postminion doesn't:

• Bulk scheduling. Upload a CSV with up to 500 posts, on Professional and up. Postminion has no bulk upload.
• Publishing extras on Professional. First comments and threads, a media library, a posting queue, RSS automation, photo watermarks, signatures, and auto-delete. Postminion has none of these.
• Link in bio. Publer's Linkie page works on every plan, including Free. Postminion doesn't have a link-in-bio page.
• Analytics, on Business. Post insights, best times to post, competitor analysis, hashtag analytics, and PDF, Excel, or CSV exports, as described in Publer's analytics guide. Postminion doesn't have analytics yet. It's coming soon.
• Comments. You can reply to comments on published posts from Publer's calendar on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube, and Mastodon. Postminion doesn't handle comments.
• Teams. Add members for $2 each on Professional or $3 on Business, with roles, permissions, and approval workflows on Business. Postminion is one user per account today.
• AI writing. Publer's AI Assist writes captions and images, unlimited on Business. Postminion has no caption writer.
• Mobile app for iOS and Android, plus a browser extension. Postminion doesn't have a mobile app.
• More networks, long-form YouTube, and LinkedIn company pages. See the table above.

If you want one tool that handles scheduling, a bit of analytics, and a team, all for less than most big-name schedulers, Publer is a strong pick.

Where Postminion is ahead

• Price from three accounts up. $8 a month covers up to 8 accounts. On Publer Professional, 6 accounts is $24 a month and 15 is $56.
• A bill that doesn't creep. Adding a fifth or sixth account on Postminion Starter costs nothing extra. Your price only changes if you move to a bigger plan.
• Every feature on every plan. On Publer, analytics, AI, and approvals need Business, which costs $7 per account instead of $4.
• Videos in Instagram carousels. Publer can't do that right now. Postminion can.
• AI assistants on every plan. Postminion connects to Claude, ChatGPT, or any client that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol, the standard AI assistants use to connect to other apps). You choose what the assistant can do and revoke access anytime. Publer lists API and MCP access for eligible Business and Enterprise customers.
• Less to learn. When I started building Postminion, my complaint was that schedulers either cost too much or had too many features I didn't use. Publer's price is fine. Its feature list is long. If you just want to upload once and post everywhere, a shorter menu helps.

On the basics, they're level. Both let you write a different caption for each network before a post goes out, and both have a calendar view of everything you've scheduled.

So which one should you use?

Use Publer if:

• You run one or two accounts. It's cheaper there.
• You want to stay free, and 3 accounts with 10 queued posts each is enough.
• You need bulk CSV uploads, first comments, a link-in-bio page, analytics, or teammates.
• You post to X, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile, or a LinkedIn company page, or you upload long videos.

Use Postminion if:

• You run three or more accounts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Threads, Facebook, and personal LinkedIn.
• You want one price that doesn't move every time you add an account.
• You want videos in your Instagram carousels.

Is Publer cheaper than Postminion?

For one account, yes. Publer Professional is $5 a month for one account and Postminion Starter is $8. With two accounts they're about even. From three accounts, Postminion is cheaper: 6 accounts cost $24 a month on Publer Professional and $8 on Postminion Starter.

Does Publer have a free plan?
